Ridgeons Independent Living Centre is packed with an unrivalled range of care and mobility equipment designed to help older and disabled people live an independent life in their own homes.

The 10,000 square foot centre has been designed to be fully accessible with bright displays, a showroom area featuring eleven room set bathroom, shower and kitchen settings. Comprehensive ranges of mobility, chairs, beds, footwear and household aids are displayed in innovative ways supplemented by large stocks in the warehouse.

The centre features a coffee shop, two state of the art accessible toilets and a fully equipped changing room for customer use. Being located out of town access to the centre is easy with 22 free car parking spaces available, seven of which are extra wide and two are covered by a canopy for protection against the elements.

We employ two Occupational Therapists who are fully qualified to advise on equipment needed to adapt a home or just make life easier. The Occupational Therapists offer a free of charge consultation service which can be held in a comfortable and private, purpose built consultation room within the Centre.

Twelve fully trained staff are on hand to assist and are able to offer customers tailored professional advice in selecting the most suitable products from a range including:-
